With most players he trained he was involved in all the coaching aspects ranging from:
- developing the players' game
- guiding them in using the appropriate strategies
- managing personalities and encouraging them to remain focused all the times
- coordinating their fitness regimen thus making sure they perform their best and reducing the possibility of getting injured; usually this included appropriate running and footwork drills in additino to hitting practice
- arranging court time, scheduling competitive play, guiding players in tournament selection and travelling with them, having the possibility to follow them and take notes during tournaments, which allows him to review performance records and adjust coaching program based on the players' strengths and hidden potentials
